In conclusion, by reading many law related news articles, I have developed a greater understanding of the world around me. Law creates structure. It is meant to be the basic backbone of a functioning and just society. The principal purposes of law in our democratic society are to establish standards, maintain order, resolve disputes, and protect liberties and rights.
